The Initiative of Judicial
Independence and Human Dignity "KARAMAH", published a new issue of
its bulletin. This issue covers the activities of "KARAMAH" during
the months of April, May and June 2011.

The KARAMAH Initiative seeks through this bulletin to promote communication with its partners in the judiciary and
civil society, in order to jointly work on supporting the rule of law and the
right of Palestinians to resort to a fair and independent judicial system, wherein
citizens' rights and dignity are protected.

The bulletin covers a range of news and activities carried
out by the Initiative in the areas of research and development, as well as  curricula for judicial training, in addition
to those designed to support an enabling environment for the independence of
the judiciary and the protection of human dignity.

Initiative is implemented in full partnership between the Institute of Law at
BZU and the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor - Canada,
