The Faculty of Commerce and Economics at BZU organizes the Career Day

For sixteen years in a row, the Faculty of Commerce and Economics at BZU organized the Career Day for its students on 28 April 2011, attended by representatives of thirty-two companies and institutions. 

 The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Economics, Dr. Nidal Sabri, which was exclusively sponsored by the Wataniya Mobile Company. In his opening speech, Dr. Sabri welcomed the attendees and guests, thanking the Wataniya Mobile Company for supporting the event, stating: "This event has become a tradition to be proud of and we are working hard to permanently maintain and develop it"

Ms. Nuha al-Masri, the Human Resources Manager at the Wataniya Company, expressed the pleasure of the Company to be the sponsor of this vital event. She added that she is proud to be a graduate of such a renowned sear of learning i.e. BZU.

The floor was opened to graduate students to meet with potential employers and demonstrate their abilities before the representatives of the participating companies.

What mostly characterizes this event is confidence building between companies and institutions and the Faculty of Commerce and Economics, which was evidenced by the increasing number of companies participating every year, knowing that a large number of these companies have programmed their recruitment plans in concurrence with the timing of this event.

It is worth mentioning that the Training and Employment Unit at the Faculty is considered the fruit of the spirit of cooperation between the Faculty of Commerce and national companies and  institutions for many years, aiming to  link students of the Faculty with the local market, so as to meet the needs of the market and know the requirements of this market, in terms of the educated and trained cadre.

The participating companies and institutions are: Arab Bank, National Beverage Coca-Cola, OFFTEC Company, the Palestinian Telecommunication Group, Deloitte Auditing Company, Medical Supplies, Price Waterhouse and Coopers, Ernst & Young, Bank of Jerusalem, Sbitany, Amman Cairo Bank, Sharek Youth Forum, al-Tarifi Auditing Company, V & V, Palestinian Education for Employment Foundation, Bank of Palestine, National Insurance Company, Anabtawi Group for Development and Investment, MADA for  Internet services, Baysamoun for Trade and Investment Company, Creative Co., Unipal, Souktil., Jerusalem Pharmaceuticals, Jawwal, Solutions and Rich.
