External academic relations director explores cooperation with French universities

Amir Khalil, the director of Birzeit University’s External Academic Relations Office, participated in a meeting between Palestinian and French university representatives in Paris, France, on December 10 and 11. The aim of the encounter was to discuss prospects of cooperation.

Organized by the French Consulate in Jerusalem, the two-day meeting aimed to expand research and economic partnerships between the two countries. It analyzed the current status of mobility programs for students, evaluated the current partnerships, and explored the possibility of enhancing cooperation between the universities of both countries.

Khalil asserted that Birzeit University is making efforts to build networks and partnerships with international universities to promote academic cooperation and provide mutual exchange opportunities through the EU-funded Erasmus+ program.
