Erasmus+ monitoring visit for Quality of Education Program
On October 4, 2018, Birzeit University hosted a Field Monitoring Visit for the Erasmus+- funded project Raising the Quality of Teacher Education Programs in Palestine.
The visit included a number of institutions: Canterbury Christ Church University, Fontys University in the Netherlands, University of Eastern Finland, and Hebron University. The Erasmus + Office in Palestine conducted the Field Monitoring Visit.
During the visit, the Palestinian universities (Birzeit University, Hebron University, and Al-Azhar University) presented the projects’ key achievements, challenges faced, remedial actions taken, lessons learned, best practices, and overall impact of the project.
As a result of this project, each university established two Smart Learning Rooms, designed new BA programs with two tracks developed Teacher Educator Competency Frameworks, and conducted several research projects on a myriad of educational topics.
