Education students build networks, meet with recruiters at career fair

Birzeit University’s Faculty of Education organized a career fair for students on campus on June 8, 2022. A full day was dedicated for students and potential employers to meet, promoting work and education as a human right for all.

The career fair hosted employers from educational institutions and organizations engaged with the faculty’s students to recruit them for various jobs, internships and career opportunities. The fair also included art and sport activities, a craft exhibition and an organic products fair.

Birzeit University’s Vice President for Academic Affairs Talal Shahwan emphasized the university’s belief in providing students the opportunity to nurture their communication and engagement with their local communities.

Shahwan mentioned that the 2022 career fair in education reflects the university’s goal to build networks with schools, community organizations and educational institutions. He added that through networking, Birzeit University will be provided an insightful perspective on job scopes and opportunities, and the competencies they require from university graduates.

The Dean of the Faculty of Education Refa’ Al-Ramahi expressed her excitement in organizing the career fair to encourage a productive exchange between students and potential employers through interaction and networking. She encouraged students to explore career options and job opportunities, and to interact with and learn about employers to make connections.
