Construction and infrastructure companies to provide support for engineering students

Arab Brothers Construction and Infrastructure Group, Future Infrastructure Pipe and Sama Mechanical Systems signed an agreement with Birzeit University to provide support for Birzeit University students enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

The agreement was signed by Birzeit University president Dr. Beshara Doumani and general manager of the Arab Brothers Construction and Infrastructure Group Ali Al Naser on July 5, 2022. The agreement will support five students by covering their tuition fees.

Doumani lauded the new partnership. He noted that building partnerships with private sector entities is an integral part of the university’s continuous development to provide quality education and better engagement with the community.

Al Naser, a Birzeit University alumnus, expressed his enthusiasm about this partnership that will potentially open doors for further collaboration, including jointly designing a training program for the graduate students to test their competency before beginning their careers.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology, established in 1979, offers students several bachelor’s degree programs, including architectural engineering, computer systems engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer engineering, urban planning and design, computer science and environmental engineering.
