Conclusion of the 1st phase of the training program“Palestinian Young Leaders”

The Deanship of Student Affairs at BZU concluded  the 1st phase of the training program "Palestinian Young Leaders", organized by the Arab Americare Foundation through its program related to the empowerment of youth. in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs Office at BZU.

The program, through its cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, aims to outreach graduating students, and provide practical training by  many institutions of the private sector and Palestinian non-governmental institutions. This training is based on contributing to the integration of university students in these institutions through the provision of opportunities that links the theoretical framework with  practical application during their study period, and to develop their skills in preparation  for the labor market.

The Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Mohammed Al-Ahmed, noted  that the Deanship of Student Affairs contributes, through its continued cooperation with the Palestinian civil society organizations, to creating integration opportunities for BZU students, contributing to the refinement of a positive personality that activates the role of these students in the national social development.


The coordinator of the training program at  the Deanship  of Student Affairs,  Ihab Maharmah, explained that 35 students have been chosen for the training, in accordance with  standards established by a specialized committee,  which was formed by the Arab Americare Foundation.

Maharmeh added that these students have been distributed among various Palestinian civil society institutions, in which they receive training for a period of 6 months, starting in December and ending in June.
