BZU Signs Memorandum of Understanding with GIZ

Represented
by the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Adnan Yahya, the BZU Department
of Architectural Engineering signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with
the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) on 30 June 2012. The MoU is
part of the "Local Governance and Civil Society Development Programme (LGP)."

The purpose of this MoU is to
facilitate collaboration and cooperation between BZU and GIZ-LGP in areas of
mutual interest and to lay the ground for initiating joint activities and
programs.

The scope of cooperation includes
(but is not necessarily limited to): joint course development, joint training
programs, summer workshops on special topics and other activities that will be
agreed upon mutually.

The MoU is valid for three years and can be modified
at any time with written consent from both parties.
