BZU reports successful participation in “National Career Week”

Birzeit University reported a successful staging of National Career Week activities during her participation at the Palestine Red Crescent Society on March 21-23, 2017. The event was organized by Ma’an Development Center and the Ministry of Labor.

The National Career Week aims to support the professional development of students and graduates in different disciplines including: business administration, accounting, finance and banking, engineering, information technology, arts, nursing, science…etc.

The Dean of Engineering and Technology Khaled Abaza said that as part of Birzeit University’s education mission, it must provide world class education that prepares well-rounded students who will be successful at the professional level, in careers and as citizens, and contributing positively to the economy. Therefore, Abaza said that the university’s participation at the National Career Weeks is part of this noble mission.

The head of the steering committee of the National Career Week and the CEO of Dar Al-Shifa’a for the Manufacturing of Pharmaceuticals stressed on the importance of organizing such national events to create a unified national dialogue between the youth and the private and public sector employees.
