BZU, Petra University looks into research cooperation in pharmaceutical and genetic fields

A delegation from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Nursing and Health Professions at Birzeit University visited the University of Petra in Jordan to discuss prospects of cooperation in research and training.

Both parties discussed means of cooperation in testing and manufacturing new pharmaceutical products, and enhance research in the field of genetic studies. They agreed that a memorandum of understanding would be signed to expand cooperation between the two parties and coordinate research between the two universities.

During the visit, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Nursing and Health Professions at the University Rania Abu Hamdeh, the Director of Samih Darwazeh Institute for Pharmaceutical Industries, and the Medical And Clinical Technologist Professor Sabri Israr met with the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Petra, Medical Microbiologist and Clinical Immunology Dr. Loay Abu Qatouseh.

The College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Health Professions at the University is currently conducting joint research with the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Petra.
