BZU Hosts Researcher Dan Walsh

The BZU Museum in cooperation with the
Municipality of Ramallah and the Palestinian
American Research Center (PARC) hosted American Researcher Dan Walsh on 23 June
2012.  Walsh gave a lecture entitled: " The
Palestine Poster: A Pixel Is Worth A Thousand Verbs," which dealt with posters Walsh has collected
and archived on his website and that feature the Nakba,
armed struggle, revolution, prisoners, war and peace, arts, women
and others.

Walsh began collecting the posters in the 1970s, and has
since collected over 3,000 Palestine posters, which aim at disseminating the
Palestinian history and struggle.
