Birzeit University Wins 4th Place in Innovative Students’ Forum

Birzeit University participated in the 16th Innovative Students Forum, held from Sept. 7-11, 2014 under the title “Bridging the Gap between Learning Outcomes and Labor Market Needs.”

The forum was organized by the Arab Council for the Training of Students of Arab Universities and hosted by the University of Tanta in Egypt.

Student Rama Zibdeh represented the university, presenting a paper entitled "The Role of Birzeit University in improving the academic experience and professional development in response to Palestinian labor market needs - the Cooperative Education Program Model." Zibdeh was awarded fourth place among Arab universities in scientific research.

Universities from nine Arab countries took part in the forum.
