Birzeit University Students Named Finalists in the Hultz Prize Challenge

Two teams from Birzeit University have a shot at winning $1 million in the Hultz Prize Challenge by reaching the international finals of the competition.

This year’s challenge encourages participants to find a way to double the incomes of those who live in poor conditions by improving mobility and connectivity. The income double must be achieved by 2022.

The first team-  “Boost Team” includes Razi Farouk, Ramzi Abu Nemreh from the Department of Architectural Engineering, in addition to Saji Zagha and Majd Daghlas from the Buisness and Economics Department.

The second Team- Spark Team includes Shaim’ Mifreh, Mahran Abul Humos from the Department of Architectural Engineering, Eyad Qufa and Zain Jarar from Business and Economics Department.
