Birzeit University students gain regional connections with 300+ exchange opportunities at Arab universities

Birzeit University’s Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Iyad Tumar discussed expanding training and networking opportunities for the university’s students in the 27th forum of the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities.

Held at the Misr University for Science and Technology in Egypt, the forum was attended by presidents and deans of student affairs of universities in Jordan, Palestine, Algeria, Bahrain, Qatar and Syria, among others.

At the three-day forum, the participants agreed that Birzeit University will provide 50 virtual training opportunities for students at Moroccan, Egyptian and Jordanian universities interested in the field of information technology and communication. The university will also offer several in-person exchange opportunities for Palestinian students at Jordanian and Egyptian universities.

Birzeit University students, in turn, will have the chance to train and gain academic and research skills at different universities in Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Sudan and Morocco that offer more than 320 exchange opportunities in various fields and disciplines.
