Birzeit University Students Conclude Training in Oman and Sudan

Under the supervision of the Arab Council for the Training of Students of Arab Universities (ACTSAU), Birzeit University students Marah Khalifa and Ahmed Jaradat concluded their training at the University of Nizwa in Oman, and the University of Khartoum in Sudan, respectively.
ACTSAU university representative and Dean of Student Affairs Mohammad Al-Ahmad emphasized the importance of such training in creating an exchange of experiences among Arab universities. He added that Birzeit seeks to provide its students with different opportunities that will help in gaining understanding.
Al-Ahmad explained that the university has cultivated nearly 40 exchange programs with its sister Arab universities, but that political circumstances bar many students from benefitting from these opportunities.
ACTSAU’s philosophy is to encourage association members to provide training opportunities for students of Arab universities via an annual meeting held to discuss the exchange of training opportunities between Arab universities in various disciplines.
