Birzeit University Participates in a Conference on Cyber Crimes

Dr. Ammar Dwaik from the Birzeit University faculty of law and public administration  has participated in a conference and training session on "Cyber crimes,” which was organized by the European Academy of Law (ERA) on 21 to 22 November 2013. The training involved the admissibility of cyber evidence in courts.

Dwaik’s participation was supported by the Palestinian Bar Association, and in partnership with the European Police (EUPOL COPPS), which seeks to introduce  the cyber crimes issue in Palestine through the training of judges, prosecutors and lawyers.

Dwaik has previously received specialized training on cyber crimes and has transferred his expertise to the Palestinian lawyers by organizing three training events in north, central and south parts of the West Bank.
