The first is Research Performance, which accounts for 45% of the overall score and is determined by the number of citations received by university publications in publicly accessible databases.
The second criterion is Non-academic Prominence, which carries a weight of 45% of the overall score. This measure evaluates the university’s online visibility through search engines such as Google, as well as the number of backlinks to the university’s website from other sites.
The remaining 10% is attributed to the Alumni Score, which is based on the number of pages featuring information about the university’s graduates and notable affiliated individuals.
