Birzeit University to increase networking efforts, student training opportunities

Representative from the university to serve on the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities’ board of directors

Dr. Mohammad Al Ahmad, dean of student affairs at Birzeit University, has been chosen as a member of the Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities’ board of directors during the council’s 24thannual meeting, held on May 6, 2018, at the University of Jordan. 

The council’s board of directors includes, in addition to the head of the board, eight members who represent a multitude of Arab universities, with each member serving for a period of three years. 

“The council provides Birzeit University students with the chance of participating in scientific conferences and art exhibitions and symposia,” said Al Ahmad. “The vote to have Birzeit University’s representative sit on the council’s board is a vote of trust in its students, faculty members, and administration.” 

Al Ahmad was also chosen to serve as part of the committee in charge of setting the council’s strategic plan.
