Beginning of the New Semester at Birzeit University

On Thursday, 9 September, the new semester began at Birzeit University with 1297 new students joining the university.

This brings the total number of students at the university to 4500 including 320 new students in the Graduate Studies Program with 13 specialties and 35 international students studying in the Palestine and Arabic Studies program.

The new semester also saw the Media Studies Program move from the old campus at Birzeit University to the new Diana Tamari Sabbagh building with several training studios for radio training, television and print journalism. A new cafeteria has also opened which caters for around 500 students and is capable of serving 1000 meals a day.
