Agreement provides training opportunities at Reach

Birzeit University students now have new training opportunities at Reach, the largest member of Palestine Telecom (Paltel Group), according to an agreement signed between the university, represented by its president Abdullatif Abuhijleh, and Reach, represented by CEO of Paltel Group Ammar Aker.

Birzeit University and Reach consider this agreement as part of their mission to contribute to achieving the Palestinian developmental goals by preparing competent graduates that are capable of fulfilling work demands and increasing production.

Abuhijleh pointed out that the university’s strategic plan is to build long-standing relationships and partnerships with national institutions to provide students with training and internship opportunities that enhance their competencies and allow them to find better job opportunities in the future.

Aker noted that this agreement aligns with the group’s mission to support Palestinian youth. He expressed his enthusiasm for this new partnership that creates opportunities for youth and broadens their horizons, enabling them to achieve their ambitions.

Ziad Mimi, the university’s vice president for planning and development, said that Birzeit University plans to help students attain advanced competencies and skills by offering opportunities for professional development and providing an interactive learning environment that links theory with practice. He assured that this agreement would enrich students’ experiential learning and support their future professional journeys, enabling graduates to follow distinct career paths.
