14th Christian Book Fair Opens at Birzeit University
On the occasion of Christmas and the New Year, the 14th Christian Book Fair was opened in the Birzeit University Faculty of Engineering building on January 4, 2014.
The opening ceremony was attended by Birzeit’s Latin Priest Father Louis Hazboun, Birzeit’s Orthodox Priest Father Isa Khoury, and Patron of the Evangelical Church in Ramallah Pastor Fadi Diab.
The exhibition includes Christian books collected from Catholic, Orthodox and Evangelical churches, in addition to hymn CDs, souvenirs, gifts and free books.
The participating priests called for justice, equality, reconciliation and peace in Palestine, stressing the role of science and culture in maintaining openness to the world and different religions.
