Thin film perovskite halide materials have demonstrated exceptional potential for optoelectronic devices and are currently under intensive research efforts. This talk will cover our contribution and ongoing efforts to further develop and understand perovskite solar cells (PSCs), its’ charge transport materials, fabrication methods, degradation and stability aspects. The investigated research aspects and findings were majorly studied by means of surface science and ultra-high vacuum techniques in parallel with basic electrical characterization and simple fabrication techniques.
