PARC’s conference in Palestine: Research Across the Green Line

The Palestinian American Research Center (PARC) is pleased to invite all interested individuals to attend PARC’s first conference in Palestine,

"Research Across the Green Line."

The Conference will be held at Birzeit University via a hybrid format, both in person and virtual.

The conference will take place Wednesday, January 4 from 9:00 AM until 4:10 PM, and continues on Thursday. January 5 from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

The conference aims to provide a platform for PARC fellows, the Palestinian community, and scholars attending virtually to discuss current issues related to research about Palestine and the Palestinians in a variety of ­elds of study. On day one, there will be a keynote address and two panels: Scenes of Landscape, Political Ecology, and Environment; Terrain of Health, Psychology, and Trauma. On day two, there will be two panels: Gendering Survival and Resistance; Solidarity and Agency. The conference will be conducted in both English and Arabic with simultaneous translation available.
