eSCO aims to build capacity and enhance the skills of Palestinian academics, fresh graduates, and technicians to support the establishment and operations of smart cities in Palestine, and hence reduce unemployment. The project will focus on three fields that are considered enablers for smart cities: IT Security, Telecoms and Computer Networks, and Smart Grid.
The eAcademy is the umbrella where the eSCO project is located. The eAcademy aims to be a virtual and/or physical entity of projects that aim to strengthen the relationship between academia and the industry and improve the society’s development in fields of technology. It will support the sustainability of these projects and enhance the visibility and usability of their outcomes.
