A workshop in the translation of human and social science texts; the distinctive features of human and social sciences texts; gaining basic understanding and skills used in analysis of social sciences texts; discussion of problems and challenges arising from translating texts that employ human and social-scientific concepts; getting familiar with and using the most widely used basic terminology in social sciences; strategies of translating history, sociology, social/cultural anthropology, social psychology, media and cultural studies texts.
