NUTD439 | DIETARY PLANNING

This course focuses on developing students’ menu planning skills in health and disease. It covers the planning of modified and unmodified diets for individuals during all stages of life taking into consideration the physical and mental health status of beneficiaries. The role of dietary modification in the prevention and/or treatment of disease is also stressed, and the availability of food items in the local market is emphasized.
