An introduction to study the ways in which individuals may differ from each other, in terms of mental, physical, linguistic, sensory, and behavioral difficulties, among others. Identify the characteristics of individuals with disabilities and models of disability in understanding and explaining mental, physical, health, learning, sensory and autism difficulties. This course also deals with the identification of diagnostic methods for individuals with various disabilities, and methods of dealing with them. Learn about the educational programs and technological means used in teaching and rehabilitating special education students.
