HLTH735 | POPULATION AND DEVELOPMENT

Study of population data resources; population growth and its characteristics (age, sex and economic); factors associated with population growth (including economic, political, cultural and social factors); and population policies in the developed and developing countries in general, with a special focus on Palestine, using special computer software. The effects of population change on various aspects from a developmental point of view (pollution, urbanization, urban growth and the different types of migration), future planning in relation to family and gender and reproductive health, with a focus on the different policies and laws related to population growth reducing its negative effects in the world in general, and in Palestine in particular.
