An advanced course of study dealing the field of Humanitarian action. The course includes presentation and discussion of principles of academic honesty and research ethics. It also involves reading, analysis and discussion of research published in refereed journals. In consultation with the instructor, each student will choose a research topic. The research project must utilize an adequate number of references to be studied and analyzed. Students will present their research before class and course committee, and are expected to revise their research paper in light of instructor feedback and class discussion
