Housing types, forms, pattern and requirements; understanding how to design for communities of medium scale human habitat. Housing qualities and deficiencies. Factors that affect community development such as natural, ecological, cultural, socio-economical, and environmental. Design solutions tackle issues of function, safety, open spaces, circulation, environment, energy conservation, and aesthetics. Introduction of relevant methods of site analysis, feasibility analysis, site preparation and grading. Medium scale projects.
