Two-credit hour courses that integrate the four skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing that help students do the following:
Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (basic personal and family information, local geography, employment); communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters; describe background, immediate environment, interests or activities; use simple structures accurately.
