Various building construction systems, concrete properties and tests, types of joints in buildings, insulation materials (heat, noise, moisture, etc.), introduction to traditional building materials and techniques and their finishing works, internal finishing materials and works, kitchens and bathrooms, fireplaces, techniques used for protection against environmental forces (umbrellas, louvers, wind towers (malkaf), etc.), introduction to mechanical, sanitary and electrical works, precast architecture, long span roofing systems and structures, practical application to produce a set of working drawings for medium-scale buildings.
