An introduction to sustainability in design process and its integration in different design disciplines (fashion, product, packaging, etc.). The basic tools of designing for sustainability: whole system mapping, designing for lifetime, greener materials, life cycle analysis, and an understanding of impacts, case study analysis and given assignments and practical projects. Understanding the need for sustainability and ultimately finding it as a tool of innovation rather than a burden.
