Introduction to the field of Ergonomics and Human Factors through the investigation of the human body and mind as well as of the corresponding safety and usability issues for design products, workplaces and design equipment In depth study of field of Ergonomics how it relates to areas of design, research project into different forms, development of prototype in relation to field of specialization of student. The course covers all relevant areas including: Introduction to Ergonomics and Human Factors; The methodology of Ergonomics; Anthropometry; Physical work and materials handling; Environmental Factors – Thermal Environment and Environmental Factors– Noise.
