(1 hour theory and 6 hours practical)
Basic Introduction to the fundamental principles and dynamics of the physical world, introduction to materials properties and colors, understanding of their character and appropriateness for particular solutions, Fast paced/small projects to explore 2D and 3D qualities materials including industrial material, training of the eye, hand and minds through construction and creation of forms in relation to project briefs drawing inspiration from nature developing the ability to analyze and articulate principles, materials and relationships. Lectures will cover the area of visual communication in design.
