The course examines democracy and human rights issues related to the Palestinian reconciliation process, and the techniques and frameworks for responding them including such mechanisms as transitional justice, the basis for the formation of the next government, conflict resolution and societal peace, reconstruction, and the like, it will also examine the (absent) role of the legislator, future elections. The course will also tackle the practical repercussions of the division on the economic, social, and political levels.
