This course gives the students the basic concepts of computer organization, binary system representation, computer and society, operating systems, computer networks, Word processors, electronic references and citations, introduction to databases, Excel spread sheets, Internet browsing for scientific search, statistical packages (such example SPSS) and its use in medical applications.(2 credit hours: one lecture + three hours Lab.)
