Yusuf Ahmed Alghanim was born in 1900 in Kuwait, and played a commercial and economic role over the decades. Alghanim Industries is one of the largest privately owned companies in the Gulf region, predominantly in Kuwait. Alghanim has a long history of foreign investment, particularly in the United States. He worked hard to build his economic empire until he died in 1992.
