Said Tawfiq Khoury

Born in 1923 in Safad City, in 1948, Said Tawfiq Khoury emigrated to Lebanon, and founded Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) in 1952, in partnership with Hasib Sabbagh and Kamel Abdel Rahman. Khoury has assumed numerous leadership positions, such as the governor of the Arab Monetary Fund, chairman of the Palestinian Businessmen Association, chairman of the Palestinian Electricity Company in Gaza, member of the Institute for Palestine Studies Board of Trustees in Beirut, and member of the Bethlehem Foundation Board of Trustees in Washington, member of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of  Europe Board of Trustees,  honorary member of the Institute for Middle East Strategic Studies (ESPN) in Washington, and ranked the ninth in the list of wealthy Arabs published in Arabian Business magazine in 2012, with a fortune of about $ 7.2 billion.
