Naseeb Shaheen is a Palestinian writer and the son of Aziz Shaheen. He was born in 1930 in the U.S. and earned his bachelor’s degree in English literature from the American University in Beirut in 1962. He completed his master's and doctorate from the University of Memphis, Tennessee. He wrote a book about Ramallah incorporating 445 photos collected from its residents over several decades. Shaheen donated the construction costs of the Graduate School building.
