You can register to any of the below training workshops; a workshop will start once at least 12 students register.
The workshops will be delivered in training halls of the Nijaad Zeini building or training halls located in Ramallah in Al-Masa building (offices of the Center for Continuing Education).
Duration of each training session is about 2-6 hours upon agreement with the participants.
The training is open to BZU students and participants from outside BZU (with priority in enrolment to BZU students)
Social responsibility and social businesses:
This training suits entrepreneurs willing to start a business based on a social concept (e.g., income-generating project for women charity in a small village) or integrate a social concept into a business (e.g., employing people with special needs by a restaurant). In the training, you will know about different social concepts and how to generate a social business idea. The training duration is 6 hours delivered in 1 or 2 sessions – to be agreed upon with the participants.
Environment-friendly principles of doing business and green businesses:
If you plan to start a green business or want to operate your business in environmental – friendly manner, this training is for you! In the training, you will know about green concepts and how to generate a business idea for green enterprises. The training duration is 6 hours delivered in 1 or 2 sessions – to be agreed upon with the participants.
Research, data analysis, and problem solving algorithms:
In this training, you will acquire skills in the research design, data collection, and data analysis, and know how to use the findings. You also will know about TRIZ algorithms successfully applied in problem solution and invention. The training duration is 20 hours delivered in 4 or 6 sessions – to be agreed upon with the participants.
Business idea generation based on market screening:
In the training, you will know about different techniques used to screen the market and find gaps that you will be able to fill in with your business.
The training duration is 12 hours delivered in 2 or 3 sessions – to be agreed upon with the participants.
Business modelling:
In the training, you will learn about business modelling techniques and will be able to develop a business model for your own business. The training duration is 12 hours delivered in 2 or 3 sessions – to be agreed upon with the participants.
Business modelling for social and green enterprises:
Running a social or green business is a big challenge for the owner! In the training, you will learn how to make social and green business profitable. The training duration is 12 hours delivered in 2 or 3 sessions – to be agreed upon with the participants.
Business analysis and planning:
In the training, you will learn how to analyse the feasibility of your business idea and develop a business plan for your potential business. The training duration is 20 hours delivered in 4 or 5 sessions – to be agreed upon with the participants.
Small enterprise management:
This training will equip you with skills essential for managing a small business including bookkeeping skills, marketing skills, operations management skills and others. The training duration is 20 hours delivered in 4 or 5 sessions – to be agreed upon with the participants.
IT solutions for business:
In this training, you will know about huge potential of contemporary IT technologies and how they can minimize the cost of your business and maximize revenues. The training duration is 12 hours delivered in 2 or 3 sessions – to be agreed upon with the participants.
