“Communicating Your Research”

In preparation for the 2018 Lancet Palestinian Health Alliance (LPHA) on March 23 and 24, 2018 in Beirut, the Institute of Community and Public Health (ICPH) is happy to announce that it will be holding a special training workshop on “Communicating Your Research” focusing on poster presentations, the academic elevator pitch and oral presentations.
The training will be conducted by Dr. Hanna Kienzler from Kings College London. It is an interactive session for those involved in qualitative and quantitative research projects. Participants will gain skills in creating and presenting posters, pitching their research in various academic settings and delivering oral conference presentations. The training will include small exercises and it is recommended that participants bring their LPHA or other conference drafted abstracts along.

Please note that space is very limited and priority will be given to those who register first. The deadline for registration is Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 12:00 noon. A confirmation of registration email will be sent to those who register on time one day before the training.
The training will be held at the Institute of Community and Public Health, Said Khoury Building, first floor, Birzeit University.
