PAS Program Birzeit University
Welcomes you to its Fall and Spring semester of 2013/ 2014.
The program offers different levels of Arabic and provides the following:
- 4 levels of Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha)
- 3 Levels of Colloquial Arabic (Jerusalem dialect)
- Courses on the Palestine Question, as well as Arab Culture, Thought and Society

- The Palestine and Arabic Studies (PAS) Program was established over 20 years ago at Birzeit University, the oldest and arguably the best university in Palestine.
- PAS students benefit from accredited courses that are recognized worldwide.
- Students can take full advantage of the university facilities and interact with local students through, social events and recreational activities. Students will also have the opportunity to choose from a range of extracurricular lectures and field trips to visit places of historical, cultural and political interest, as well as volunteer for social projects in a nearby refugee camp (organized by the program).
