The External Academic Relations Office is pleased to announce funded training opportunities through the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Program (ITEC).
The ITEC Program, sponsored by the Government of India, offers short-term professional training courses across diverse fields, aiming to enhance capacity-building and international cooperation with developing countries.
Type of the scholarship:
Short-term training courses (professional development)
Period or starting date:
Various dates throughout 2025 depending on the course. Please refer to each course for specific duration.
Available fields of study: Fields include but are not limited to:
- Agriculture and food processing
- Artificial intelligence and cyber technologies
- Entrepreneurship and small businesses
- Banking, accounting, auditing, and finance
- Water resource management
- Public administration and governance
- Renewable energy and environmental studies
- Health, yoga, and medical technologies
Application Deadline:
Varies by course – please check each course individually on the ITEC portal.
Funding: The scholarship covers:
- International airfare
- Course fees
- Accommodation and meals
- Emergency medical aid
- Living allowance
- Study tours within India
Conditions:
- Applicants must be Palestinian nationals nominated by their organization (e.g. university, public or private sector institution).
- All fields marked with * in the online application must be filled.
- English proficiency and medical fitness certificates are required.
- Nomination from your institution is necessary.

- Relevance of course to the applicant’s current professional role
- Academic/professional qualifications
- Institutional nomination
- English language proficiency

After submission:
- Activate your application through the confirmation email sent to your registered email address.
- Print your application and prepare the required documents including the English proficiency form, medical report, 2 passport photos, copy of passport, copy of academic degree, and nomination letter from your institution.
