The External Academic Relations office is pleased to announce a funded 4-year PhD scholarship at London South Bank University (LSBU) in the UK. This tuition-free opportunity is part of a cutting-edge research project focusing on artificial intelligence, green energy, and climate modeling in building systems.

This interdisciplinary PhD project is suitable for candidates from the following backgrounds:

Funding:
The scholarship includes a full tuition fee waiver for 4 years (48 months), covering:

  • Research and development phase
  • Writing-up year
  • Examination and final submission of the thesis

Note: Living expenses and accommodation are not covered.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

  • A 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
  • Two academic reference letters.
  • Proof of all qualifications.
  • For non-native English speakers, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 is required.
  • Candidates will be invited to an interview with the potential supervisor (in person or online).
  • Candidates must contact the supervisor before applying.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in machine learning and sustainable energy technologies.
  • Strong interest in numerical analysis related to building and environmental system
