The Global Health Institute at the American University of Beirut (AUB-GHI), in partnership with R4HC Consortium,

is offering an Online Asynchronous

 Certificate in Conflict Medicine

The certificate focuses, in a contextualized manner, on how medical care and research can be shaped and undertaken in settings of conflict and fragility. 

To obtain the certificate, each learner must complete four courses, 30 hours each, for a total of 120 hours of learning: 1) Introduction to Conflict Medicine; 2) Medical Care and Knowledge in Conflict; 3) Health Research Methods in Conflict and 4) learners choose one of three specialty courses: War Wounds, Infectious Diseases in Conflict, or Cancer in Conflict. All courses are online and asynchronous, so that learners can undertake them depending on their availability and time commitment. Certificate learners may include medical and nursing students, medical trainees, medical practitioners, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
