University community forges links with faculty, staff at Management University of Africa

Amir Khalil, the external academic relations officer at Birzeit University, has discussed establishing channels of academic cooperation with staff and faculty members at the Management University of Africa, in Kenya, in a recent online meeting with representatives of the university. 

In the meeting, Khalil gave a brief overview of the university, highlighting its nine faculties that offer more than 110 programs leading to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Khalil also explained the registration and admissions procedure, discussing the credit-hour system, term load, and course requirements. 

Birzeit University is an active member of several academic affiliations and programs that bolster its ties with regional and international higher education institutions, noted Khalil.  

Through these linkages, he added, the university establishes and maintains, students can participate in lectures and seminars, professors engage in groundbreaking research projects, and staff members join training sessions and workshops in some of the world’s finest and most well-regarded universities.
