Assistant professor lectures at University of Vienna

Nojoud Habash, assistant professor at Birzeit University’s Department of Business Administration, lectured at the University of Vienna, Austria, as part of the Erasmus+ exchange program.

During her one-week mobility visit, Habash gave lectures to graduate and undergraduate students. She lectured on international business and the trends and features of foreign direct investment in the MENA region and presented her research on franchise businesses that focuses on the factors behind fast food franchising in Gulf Cooperation Council countries, as well as her studies of multinational relations and competitiveness, key drivers of multinational investment in Jordan, and her study of multinational relations and competitiveness―key drivers of multinational investment in Jordan―that explores the reasons why European multinational companies consider economic and cultural factors rather than political ones when investing in Arab countries.
