More than 25 students participate in Erasmus+ mobility programs during second semester

Twenty-nine students from Birzeit University are currently enrolled via the Erasmus+ mobility program at fourteen European universities where they will study for one semester.

Participating graduate and undergraduate students come from various disciplines that include languages, the arts, science, engineering, accounting, finance, law, democracy and human rights. They attend programs at the University of Iceland; University of Helsinki; Tampere University, Finland; Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium; Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden; University of Vienna in Austria; University of Malta; Estonian University of Life Sciences; University of Almeria, Spain; Philips University in Marburg and University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany; University of Burgundy in Dijon, France; and at University of Messina and Palermo University in Italy.

Students returning to Birzeit University upon completion of their semester abroad have gained new experiences and acquired language and other skills.

In the first semester of the 2019–2020 academic year, 25 students from Birzeit University participated in similar mobility programs.

Throughout the academic year, Director of the External Academic Relations Office Amir Khalil provides advice and holds information sessions for interested students concerning the qualifications they need and procedures they must follow to apply for the Erasmus+ mobility program.
