Law students win second place in Nuremberg Moot Court 2019

The student team of Birzeit University was declared the winner of the second place of the Nuremberg Moot Court 2019, held in Germany from July 25 to 28, 2019.

In the finals, the team, consisting of law students: Eman Rabee, Haneen Shadeed and Hala Qassis, competed with the winning team of National University of Singapore, after winning against teams from the La Trob University of Australia, Paris-Sorbonne University, and University of Eastern Piedmont of Italy.

Birzeit University students: Eman Rabee and Haneen Shadeed, were the second best overall speakers, and the team also received awards for the best written memoranda for the prosecution.

Birzeit University is the first Arab university to be qualified to the finales of Nuremberg Moot Court competition.
